Save the planet?

How noble... But does it really matter? I don't believe so. We've already pushed our environment past the point of no return. We're in the midst of the greatest species extinction the planet has ever seen. We'd have to go back to pre-20th century era carbon outputs to even begin to stabilize the atmosphere. And, the human population is pushing the limits of what the planet can support in water and arable land. Hell, we can't even come to a consensus on species invasion; Asian Carp anyone?

Going green is just a marketing scheme to sucker you hippies and technophiles on the west coast into spending your hard earned money on unsafe micro vehicles and green techie gadgets. Neither of which are truly "green". Gotta love how the aristocracy has the population wrapped around its little finger. So, it really doesn't matter if you use disposable or cloth. If you were really serious about "saving the planet", you'd use no diapers at all. But then again, I wouldn't expect that because people are too selfish to give up their convenience in order to save the environment for future generations.
